Hexagons

After playing with some Red Heart Super Saver color combinations I started a new blanket this week!

It involves hexagons. My first ever blanket using hexagons and I am loving it! The pattern is from the book Crochet with Color available on Amazon.

You know what I'll be doing this weekend :) Hope you all have a fantastic first weekend of May!

  12. Your hexies are beautiful <3 I am so glad to see someone create something pretty using economical yarn...proves it can be done! I always drool over the beautiful projects being made with rowan yarns, but know they will never be in my budget. I'm looking forward to seeing your blanket come together.

P.S. - I have to go check out the book on Amazon now

  27. I think that the new hexagon design really came out well. I would love to see the finished product. It should come out well with the wide variation in color and I really like the flower design in the middle of each piece. I think this will turn out really well.
