Needlepoint

Not much creativity has been happening at Hopscotch Lane, it must be the winter doldrums. February is always the longest month for me to get through.

I did get a little bit of stitching done. This was my first time trying needlepoint and I loved it (so much faster than cross stitch). The pattern is from Cath Kidston's "Stitch" book.

  1. January and February can be tough! We have had a lot of sun this winter, which is unusual for us, so that helps. The drawback is colder temperatures!
I love the needlepoint. I have been thinking of trying it out soon too. I have been eyeing 'Stitch': do you like it?

  4. Good job! IT looks so lovely with your little display! Yes, February is a long month, here in Vermont we are having a blizzard. So another day inside, but it's pretty!
    Have a nice weekend, xoRobin❤

  5. Love your little needlepoint coaster! You can't beat Cath Kidston prints. I was thinking of taking up cross stitch or needlepoint when my crochet mojo disappeared on me for awhile. Love that little blanket next to it too...very nice colors.

  14. Your needlepoint looks great! I have that book too, but I have to admit I haven't quite got round to making anything from it yet. I think that needs remedying soon!
