Hot Water Bottle Cover

Happy New Year everyone! (Better late than never, right?)

Here's a little project I did before Christmas that I couldn't share with you until now because it was a gift for my mom.

Here it is... a hot water bottle cover!



The white cover is just something I made up using an unloved sweater, rick rack, and a button. The flower at the bottom is attic24's flower pattern. It was so much fun to make up, I definitely want to make more of them!


Did you notice the granny blanket in the background? It's a new one in progress! I have plans to post the pattern on my blog when it is done. I'm not sure it can even be called a pattern since it ridiculously simple :)

    That water bottle is too cute! I love Lucy's pattern too. I've made several and attached them to hair clips for my daughter. Your granny blanket is delish- I am making one in the same pattern right now in a variety of Cath colours. Can't wait to compare notes!!
