More Yellow

It's been yellow kinda week. I don't know what it is, I just can't get enough of it. Usually I am all about red and pink, but yellow has been looping around my hook lately.

 This is a super simple baby blanket. It's just a huge granny square, using my favorite granny square pattern. I did 20 rounds of 2 rows of color. Then I single crocheted all around the blanket with 3sc in each corner. The finished blanket measures about 22 inches square. Perfect for cuddling a baby!


Of course I had to make a matching owl using atergcrochet's amazing pattern!

    Love this! I made a large granny square with my youngest grand daughters favorite colors last year. And the Owl, cuter than cute.

    I love your matching owl! Those colors are great for the blanket AND the owl. My owl didn't turn out as pretty as any of yours. I think it was the yarn I used...at least I hope that's what it is. I'll have to try again. Love your stuff!

    After looking at lots of patterns I decided to use yours to make a blanket for my baby which is due in July. This is my first ever crochet project.
